Ippi's Pond Stocking Update:
The Division of Fisheries & Wildlife suggests that we don't introduce more bass into local ponds as it may prevent the current bass population from growing to their full potential. So Ippi's Re-Stocking Fund money only goes to stocking trout that are at least 12" in length (which are too big for some cormorants to swallow) into Sluice Pond.

2003 to 2007 Ippi's ReStocking Fish Fund
$1500 was used to restock Sluice Pond with 330 brown trout. All kids who attended were able to help stock the fish, were provided free food, face painting, entertainment from Ju-Ju the clown, and the ladies of Sluice Pond Association taught them to make a fly for fishing.

Ippi restocked Sluice Pond May 12th, 2007, with 330 Brown Trout during her 1st Ippi's Restocking and Environment Day. Restocking will be done again, when enough $ is raised- thank you to Ed & Jan Hooper, who donated $20 toward Ippi's next restocking event!

Lynn Fish & Game Stocking Update*: Lynn Fish & Game Protective Association, Inc, will stock Trout in Sluice Pond in April 2009. They will be stocked before the Opening Day Derby on Saturday, April 25th. In order to claim one of the cash prizes (e.g. one of the trout tagged by Lynn Fish & Game), you MUST sign up for the Lynn Fish & Game Super Trout Derby BEFORE the Opening Day Derby begins.
