Trout can be skittish- when using Berkley PowerBait (artificial salmon eggs), which we sell at Ippi's, make sure you cover the entire hook. You can catch trout on all of the PowerBait colors; the most popular colors we sell are Chartreuse, Fl. Orange, Fl. Red, Fl. Yellow, & Pink. Just as popular are the actual salmon eggs, which Ippi's also sells. 11/08/08

The bigger the bait, the bigger the fish. The Pike Shiners & Giant NightCrawlers may appear very large, but that's what will get you the big fish. If you catch more small fish than large ones, try a larger bait or artificial bait (e.g. lures) and go for the big one! 11/15/08
